Milan: senft & partner nominated for Ellis Kopel Prize 2009
27. Mai 2009
senft & partner receives international credit. For the RIGIPS4FANS campaign, which was launched on the occasion of the European football championship, we got nominated for the Ellis Kopel Prize 2009 in the field Business2Business communication.
Once a year the International Public Relations Network (IPRN) honours outstanding PR-campaigns with the Ellis Kopel Prize. This year again, one nomination also went to Austria: to senft & partner for the RIGIPS4FANS campaign. The jury meeting took place on May 23, 2009 in Milan. „We are very glad about this recognition”, explains General Manager Susanne Senft. „It validates our strategy to focus on integrated communication.” RIGIPS4FANS easily crossed borders and combined different communication-disciplines from sponsoring and media relations to web 2.0.
We have already been honoured for this project in May 2009 with the Austrian Best PRactice Award.
The main issue of RIGIPS4FANS was the construction of a FanCamp close to the Ernst-Happel stadium, where football fans could spend the night at attractive terms and cheer their teams together. In this way RIGIPS documented the great value the company sets upon service – along the lines of “RIGIPS – we care”.
The Ellis Kopel Prize 2009 went to Harkonsalo & Vesa Pubnlic Relations Oy, Finland, for the development of an advice program for strategic PR. All in all 12 projects form Great Britain, Spain, Finland, France, Ireland, Austria, Czech Republic, USA and Canada applied for the Ellis Kopel Prize. For senft & partner this year’s nomination is already the second one. Last year we nearly reached the winner’s podium with rebranding VALETTA.
