Dubai: senft&partner nominated for Ellis Kopel Prize
12. Jun 2008
Vienna-based PR agency senft&partner delighted with international recognition. senft&partner has earned a nomination in the Business2Business Communications category of the 2008 Ellis Kopel Prize for its positioning of the Valetta Sonnenschutz brand.
In 2007 senft&partner became the first and only Austrian agency to join the International Public Relations Network (IPRN), and just one year later it has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Ellis Kopel Prize for PR. Projects from Austria, the Czech Republic, France, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the USA were presented at the IPRN annual meeting in Dubai. “The nomination is a special honour for us,“ says managing partner Susanne Senft. “It is nice to see projects by smaller agencies stand out in the competition. This achievement shows that our diversification into integrated communications was a step in the right direction.“
senft&partner presented its brand strategy for Valetta sun protection systems. The Linz-based company charged the agency with a fundamental rebranding brief in summer 2007. After a brand workshop, work began on developing a completely new corporate design, measures to intensify press work and publication of a range of new brochures and catalogues. A new Valetta radio advertising campaign was launched in spring to coincide with the start of the season.
The 2008 Ellis Kopel Prize was awarded to Steve Mangold, California for a CSR project in Californian schools. The project stood out for its high degree of social involvement and the creative realisation of the communications objectives.
